I have just been informed by Public Safety Medical that the seasonal flu shots will not arrive before next week’s scheduled flu shots at Headquarters. Make up dates have been rescheduled for later in October. The updated Blood Draw and Flu Shot schedule is listed below.
SEPTEMBER BLOOD DRAWS
C SHIFT: September 21st – Station 24 – 0700 – 0930 Hours – Blood Draw
A SHIFT: September 25th – Station 26 – 0700 – 0930 Hours – Blood Draw
B SHIFT: September 29th – Station 44 – 0700 – 0930 Hours – Blood Draw
OCTOBER BLOOD DRAWS AND SEASONAL FLU SHOTS
A SHIFT: October 7th – IFD Headquarters – 0700 – 0930 – Blood Draw and Flu Shots
B SHIFT: October 8th – IFD Headquarters – 0700 – 0930 – Blood Draw and Flu Shots
C SHIFT: October 9th – IFD Headquarters – 0700 – 0930 – Blood Draw and Flu Shots
OCTOBER SEASONAL FLU SHOTS
A SHIFT: October 19th – IFD Headquarters – 1400 – 1530 – Seasonal Flu Shots
B SHIFT: October 20th – IFD Headquarters – 1400 – 1530 – Seasonal Flu Shots
C SHIFT: October 21st – IFD Headquarters – 1400 – 1530 – Seasonal Flu Shots
BLOOD DRAWS REQUIRES A 12 HOUR FAST. You SHOULD drink plenty of water and continue medications.
**Until further notice, Public Safety Medical will not be doing blood draws at their facility at 6612 E. 75th Street .
For your safety and the safety of PSM personnel, everyone will be required to wear a mask while having their blood drawn. Social distancing will also be in effect.
