The IFD Administration has authorized the department to return to the Normal Overtime Procedures on Saturday, January 30, 2021. (IFD has been operating in the Phase I of the IFD Critical Staffing Plan due to the numbers of Firefighters that have been off, due to the Pandemic.) So what does this mean?
- Returning to 12 hours OT shift for both Regular & Emergency OT slots when staffing drops below 290 firefighters per shift.
- Firefighters will not be allowed to work OT on Kelly Days.
- Please remove on Telestaff, any OT that you have put in on your Kelly Day.
- If notified of OT on your Kelly Day, please report it to the Shift Commander immediately.
- Unassigned firefighters will be rotating to different battalions on 02/01/2021.
