Companies of the Indianapolis Fire Department have received Ballistic Protection Equipment (BPE) as part of the Rescue Task Force (RTF) concept. Below you will find information pertaining to the policy, gear and training. If you have specific questions about the gear, please contact Health and Safety Division Chief Douglas Evans. If you have specific questions about the RTF training for response, please contact EMS.
